Most of the support products and services put on the market by Prodware under the trademark GreenITude® are immediately cost-effective and environmentally friendly. This is made possible by:
This IT and reporting software programme dedicated to Sustainable Development strategies gives companies the possibility to formalise the preparation of their annual non-financial report.
This software includes not only the GRI, Global Compact and ISO references, but also reports on sustainable development that is be configurable according to each industry.
This Sustainability Manager Software Suite benefited from three years of development in France. The project was supported by the French public authorities, and especially by OSEO, by the ADEME and by the French Department of Industry’s Direction of Innovation, which co-financed 50% of it within the framework of the EcoTech 2009 call for funds.
In 2011, Prodware consolidated its Waste & Recycling industry line of business. Its software suite integrated accounting and client management tools. The company also optimised the collection of sorted waste and offered a GIS service for its clients’ fleet. Many businesses within this industry benefited from these innovations to better comply with national objectives to lower the incentive household waste tax. Prodware offers its clients leading software solutions based on location tracking, data capture and embedded computers in waste collection vehicles to combine invoicing and weighting according to the waste’s volume and quality. In France, the incentive royalty will progressively be extended to all municipalities, and everybody will have to reduce personal amounts of waste and sort it better.
When taking over ARES Innovation and Design, Prodware preserved the local ecosystem and maintained skills and jobs in industrial design, creation and architecture.
As regards eco-design and waste reduction at the source, Prodware’s Innovation and Design subsidiary offers Prodware’s clients the green Autodesk, PTC and Archiwizzard solutions, which integrate the environmental efficiency constraints into the upstream creation processes. They can be used to model and to most extensively simulate the future usage phases.
In 2012, Prodware’s social partners signed a new profit-sharing agreement for three calendar years. It is the second one (the first one was initiated in 2009).
The principle remains the same: the agreement reflects the company’s willingness to share the potential benefits of a better organisation with its employees.
The purpose is to allocate a part of the company’s net income to its employees without compromising the company’s growth.
The global amount of the profit sharing bonus shall be distributed according to the gross individual wages received during a given year. If an employee went on maternity or adoption leave, or suffered from an accident at work or from an industrial disease, the wages that will be taken into account are the ones he/she should have received if he/she had worked during these periods.
Running on from the profit-sharing agreement signed in 2009, the social partners also signed an employee savings scheme to encourage employees to progressively save money by making them benefit from tax advantages, as the shared profit invested in the scheme is exempted from French income tax and from most of the French social security contributions. Prodware covers the account keeping and management costs.
Prodware’s employer’s contribution stands between 7 and 15% of the amounts invested by its employees in bonds (this ratio’s bracket was contractually reduced to 12% to 15% in June 2012) and to 2% of the amounts invested in employee’s mutual fund shares.
